NaramGaram

Owing to Golmaal being a super-hit, NaramGaram was made in 1981 by Hrishikesh Mukherjee as a sequel. However, other than the two main characters, Amol Palekar as Ramprasad and UtpalDutt as Bhavani Shankar, the other characters and the plotlines are different but equally hilarious. Ramprasad lets his partner,  Kusum, and father stay at his boss’s house. A hilarious series of misfortunes ensue when Kusum suddenly gets pursued by various suitors. This film is equally adorable, and the acting and comic timing makes it impossible to stop laughing.

However, after her son gets married, her daughter-in-law’s sister, Manju comes to visit and stay with them.  She comes from a household with an opposite atmosphere of perpetual fun, jokes, and laughter. She begins spreading her infectious bubbly and happy nature in this house, leading to a hilarious series of events and an eventual opening up of everybody in the house. The conclusion is lovely and heartwarming!

Kisi Se Na Kehna

This is another masterpiece by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, this time starring Farooq Shaikh and Deepti Naval. The show traces the story of Ramesh, who is in love with Ramola, a qualified doctor. However, his father wants him to marry a simple girl, which she then pretends to be. The whole film revolves around their efforts to keep her qualifications a secret, leading to a series of funny encounters, which becomes difficult as circumstances unfold!
