Horror comedy is comparatively an unexplored genre in Bollywood. It's a kind of movie genre that contains an unusual combination of both comedy and horror elements. At one side, you get entertained and laugh out loud at the comic situations shown in the movie, and on the other side, the horror scenes make you feel terrified.
Though Bollywood hasn't produced many movies of this genre, still there are some movies which are great in terms of filmmaking and worth a watch.
- Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007): Considered as the finest horror comedy movie made in Bollywood, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' revolves around an NRI couple who comes to India and stays in their ancestral house. The film is a breath of fresh air and it mocks patriarchy, misogyny and several other social issues in a hilarious way.
