Darth Vader
He is the single most iconic screen villain of all time. Not only is his appearance terrifying, but he also has a voice which is bone-chilling. From snapping necks left and right to cutting off his own son’s hand, he is certainly someone that is not to be trifled with. While Star Wars films are made of space pilots, princesses, heroes, robot sidekicks and old wizards, there will only ever be one Darth Vader. His famous line is - ‘If you only knew the power of the Dark Side.’
Han Solo
Han Solo is the captain of the Millennium Falcon and certainly the cockiest space pilot in the galaxy. While he is every boy’s hero, cruising from star system to star system, it is nearly impossible to not fall madly in love with him. Not to miss his Bogart-cowboy-hipster outfit which is legendary. He is one of those onscreen heroes who have managed to create a vital bond between character and audience. Han’s ultimate end in ‘The Force Awakens’ came as a real shock to most of the fans.
Princess Leia Organa
The face of the Rebel Alliance, who is both beautiful and blaster-packing. Her Danish-pastry-haircut is iconic of womanhood and who couldn’t remember her whole gold bikini incident but look at how she came back in ‘The Force Awakens’, as a full-blown General with her own Resistance army. Now after four decades of the Star Wars Galaxy, most of us realise that she is the most shaded, complex character in the entire ‘Star Wars’ saga. As a woman in a man’s universe, she faces down both Tarkin and Vader and refuses to get sucked into anything because of her quickest mind, and the sharpest tongue.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
From a thrusting young Jedi hero to desert-wandering retainer, he is the beating heart of the entire ‘Star Wars’ saga, who is absolutely ruthless with a lightsaber. His wardrobe with shades-of-beige is stylish. His key line is - If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.
Chewbacca
A seven-foot walking man with natural furry flares, Chewbacca and his vocal tones consist of barks, rumbles and surprisingly-hard-to-imitate growls. He is the co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon. Despite being a Wookiee, he is lovable and every man would love to be around him because of his hardworking, affectionate and dashing traits.
