5 Guinness World Records that you can try breaking from home (Part II)

Not all Guinness World Records are awe inspiring feats of skill and perseverance. Some of them are simply fun and whacky jobs that anyone can try from their home. Here are five such records that you can try breaking at your spare time.

Most socks put on one foot in one minute

You can get into the Guinness Book of World Records by doing something as mundane as putting on socks. Even though it sounds like an easy and fun record to try to break, this will require a lot of skill and practice, especially when you consider the current record of fifty-two socks. Putting 52 socks on one foot within one minute is not an easy task. This feat was achieved by PavolDurdik of Slovakia on 21st February, 2017.

Most sticky notes stuck on face in 30 seconds

One of the whackiest way to get into the Guinness Book of World Records is by sticking sticky notes on your face. This bizarre record is held by Silvio Sabba of Italy who also happen to hold the Guinness record for building the fastest three-story house of cards and the tallest zigzag Lego brick tower. Mr Sabba managed to put 38 sticky notes on his face in 30 seconds in April 2018. We believe you can definitely challenge that after a few months of practice.

Fastest time to throw 10 soft toys into a target

There are many serious sports that involves throwing stuff at targets like balls, darts and even axes. Guinness Books of World Records is probably the only place where you can get famous by throwing soft toys into a target. The current record holder of this particular sport is James Rawlings of UK who in August 2020 managed to throw ten soft toys into a target in just 11.43 seconds. If you have a straight arm, you can give this world record title a go.

Fastest time to eat a chocolate orange

If you have a sweet tooth and is a fast eater, this should be right up your alley. The record for the fastest time to eat a chocolate orange belongs to a person in the UK named Leah Shutkever who managed to eat the whole thing in just 57.14 seconds. If you can eat a chocolate orange under one minute, we’d say you have a genuine shot at a Guinness world record provided you practice it a bit more.

Tallest toilet paper tower in 30 seconds

Now that the toilet paper scarcity is over, you can aim for a Guinness world record by building the tallest toilet paper tower in 30 seconds. The current record is again held by the Italian Silvio Sabba whose name happen to feature is every other whacky Guinness world record. On 1st October, 2013, Mr Sabba managed to stack 28 rolls of toilet paper in thirty seconds.
