5. Ornamental sweet potato – This can be a good science experiment for your kids, or you can just use these to add a tropical treat in your house. Trim some stems just below the leaf node to help accelerate their growth in water well. Change the water twice and week and you’re good to go!

English Ivy – Another famous creeper, English Ivy, is actually a thriving water plant. It is extremely easy to grow this from cuttings.
