7 Spin-Off Movies that Were Better Than the Original (Part II)

Continuing from the first part of the story, here are a few more spin-off movies that were actually better than the original.

Deadpool

Deadpool is a movie based on the famous Marvel superhero Deadpool and a part of the X-Men movie universe.

The movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine was one of the worst received X-Men movies ever and many criticized the movie because of its content. But Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool never gave up on revitalizing Wade Wilson (the man behind the mask of Deadpool), and Deadpool was liked by both critics and the audience alike. It found better reviews than most of the X-Men movies and when its sequel Deadpool 2 also got universal acclaim.

Rogue One

Given that it’s usually endured in with the sequels and Disney’s Star Wars releases overall, Rogue One holds a special place and is one of the best movies in the Star Wars franchise.

Rogue One is a spin-off from the Star Wars movie series and many hold it as one of the best movies in the whole franchise. It’s mostly because of the amazing hallway sequence which shows Darth Vader truly being a total badass and evil, and the climax being an actual star war sequence, Rogue One did the perfect job of providing what the audience actually wanted while, along with telling a new and fresh story.

Creed

There is no doubt that the classic Rocky series is one of the most iconic movies of all time but Creed even betters the earlier Rocky movies.

The first Rocky movie no doubt was a classic and cemented Sylvester Stallone as one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood. Creed was a spin-off from the Rocky series and it tells the story of Adonis Johnson, son of the heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, a former friend of Rocky Balboa. Michael B Jordan gave an iconic performance in the lead role of Adonis Johnson and Sylvester Stallone also gave a performance to remember as his mentor.
