7 Things all introverts can relate to

Are you an introvert? Then you will laugh at these things because they are so relatable.

There are two kinds of people in this world. The first are people who plan a weekend out with friends and have a great time. The second are people who prefer to stay home and cuddle with their books and these are introverts.

If you are an introvert, you will surely relate to the below points.

  1. You hate phone calls
You hate receiving and making phone calls. You will let the phone ring and not pick up to avoid talking on the phone. And will just text them later to ask why they called. But if someone close to you calls then you are absolutely fine talking to them.
  1. You have a small circle of friends
You have a small circle of friends and are close to probably two or three people. Introverts choose relationships carefully because you have limited people’s energy to spend.
  1. You wish you were an extrovert
You secretly wish you could talk to random people and put your opinions in large groups as easily as an extrovert. But then you will realize how draining talking in large groups can be that you prefer staying by yourself.
  1. You have been told that you are a good listener
You don’t feel the need to express every thought that comes into your head. You are perfectly comfortable giving someone else the stage, while you listen to every word they say.
  1. Your home is your head
You live in your head. You think and daydream so much that people tell you to get out of your head. But that’s only because your inner world is much more attractive than the outer world.
  1. Everyone asks you “why are you so quiet?”
Every introvert has been constantly asked, “Why he or she is always quiet”. You wish you could tell them that if you don’t ask why they are so loud, then they need not ask why you are so quiet. What they don’t understand is that introverts prefer deep conversations to small talk.
  1. You hate being the center of attention
At work, you would rather have a one-on-one conversation with your boss than express your thoughts in a room full of people. But the situation can be different when you are passionate about something.
