9 natural remedies to get rid of under-eye dark circles

Rose Water

As we all know, rose water is used to keep the skin fresh. However, it is also used in removing dark circles effectively. Soak some cotton pads in rose water and place them on your dark circles for 15 minutes to get best results.

Cucumber

Like rose water, cucumber too can be used to treat swollen eye-bags and dark circles. Slice some cucumbers, keep them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and after taking them out, place them on your closed eyes for about 10 mins. It will give you an instant result.

Tomatoes

Rich in Vitamin C, tomatoes contain lycopene, which helps in decreasing the appearance of dark circles. Mix equals parts tomato juice with lemon juice, and apply it on the under-eye area with a cotton ball. If not that, drink tomato juice mixed with lemon juice and mint leaves to get the best results.

Almond Oil

Rich in vitamin E, almond oil is one of the easiest ways to remove dark circles as it rejuvenates the skin. Apply a few drops of almond oil on your dark circles and then massage. Keep it overnight and wash it the next morning.

Cold Tea Bags

Tea bags are rich in antioxidants that can help in soothing the under-eye area. Use them after cooling them in a refrigerator for 30 mins.

Grated potatoes

Potatoes are used to bring back the radiance to the skin. Grate some potatoes, extract their juice and with cotton pads, use them on the dark circles for 10 minutes.

Orange Juice

Orange juice contains Vitamin A and C, and it is super beneficial to revive your skin to its natural glow.

Mint Leaves

Mint leaves, just like cucumber, can give a relaxing feel to your eyes. Prepare a paste, apply it on the dark circles and leave it for 10 minutes.

Get 8 Hours of Sleep

Much like the other home remedies, a healthy sleep pattern is also a must in order to get rid of heavy eye-bags and dark circles. So make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep to replenish your skin.
