Riding a motorcycle is a fun activity as there are several tricks one can perform on the motorcycle. From popping wheelies to doing burnouts, a motorcycle is a machine that offers too much fun and excitement. However, for those riders who are more into track racing; cornering is their first love. After all, the feeling of scraping the knees while going fast through the corners cannot be described in words. Although, one should not forget that cornering is a risky trick and the chances of skidding are extremely high. That is where cornering ABS comes into play. So, if a rider from India is into cornerings, what are the affordable options available in the market?

KTM Adventure 390- Although not a track machine, the KTM Adventure 390 is the most affordable motorcycle in India with a cornering ABS. A 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine tuned to produce a peak power of 43hp at 9,000rpm and a torque figure of 37Nm at 7,000rpm powers the adventure-tourer motorcycle. Retails at INR 3.1 lakh, the motorcycle is also equipped with a traction control system.

Aprilia RS 660- A fully faired track-focused motorcycle from Italian manufacturer Aprilia, the RS 660 is powered by a 659cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, parallel twin-cylinder engine tuned to produce a peak power of 100hp at 10,500rpm and a maximum torque 67Nm at 8,500rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with a host of electronic aids such as cornering ABS, traction control, ABS, five riding modes and more. The motorcycle is soon to arrive in India.

Aprilia Tuono 660- Another affordable motorcycle from Aprilia, the Tuono is a semi-faired motorcycle that is meant for track riding and street riding. A 660cc, parallel-twin engine tuned to produce a peak power of 95hp powers the Tuono 660. There isn’t much information available about the India specific model because the motorcycle is not yet accessible in India. However, it is scheduled for a launch in June-July. In terms of pricing, it is likely cost between INR 8 lakh and INR 9.5 lakh.

KTM Duke 790- Last but not least, the KTM Duke 790 is a naked street fighter motorcycle with a 799cc, parallel twin-cylinder, 8-valve, DOHC engine. Retails at INR 8.63 lakh, the motorcycle is equipped with aids such as cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control and four different riding modes.
