All-Time Top Scorers of the T1 League

Some players from various countries have taken the T1 League of Thailand to a grander status by recording numerous goals

The T1 League is Thailand’s top tier football league that has given birth to various records since its inception. In a single piece or 400 words, it is not possible to bring up all the records. Therefore, in this column, we bring to you the all-time top scorers of the T1 League, which is a record in itself.

Cleiton Silva- Cleiton Silva is a Brazilian winger/forward 34-year-old player who currently plays for Bengaluru Football Club that takes part in the Indian Super League. However, Silva has spent most of this football playing career in the country of Thailand. Although he commenced playing in 2008, his career turned to a constructive tone when he was signed by BEC Tero Sasana in 2012. In his very first season, the player was awarded the golden boot award and in 2013, he also earned the striker of the year award. The star winger also spent three years with Muangthong United. In total, he scored 141 goals from 193 appearances.

Heberty Fernandes de Andrade- Another Brazilian who put the T1 League on fire is Heberty Fernandes de Andrade. The Brazilian joined the club of Ratchaburi Mitr Phol F.C. in 2014 and since then, he has been a part of the T1 League. In 2014, he scored 26 goals from 36 matches and also earned the player of the month award (March). Apart from performing for Ratchaburi Mitr Phol F.C., he was also a part of the Muangthong United club and at present; he represents the club of Bangkok United. So far, he has scored 141 games from 224 appearances.

Teerasil Dangda- Aged 32, Dangda is the captain of the Thailand national football team who commenced his youth career with Assumption College Thonburi in 2003. As he grew, he moved up in the world and joined the Air Technical Training School in 2004 and later on, the Muangthong United Football Club in 2007. He was also signed by the Premier League club Manchester City, but because of problems with the work permit, he was loaned to club Grasshopper. In 2009, he returned to Muangthong United and at present; he participates for BG Pathum United. So far, he has accomplished over 120 goals in the T1 League from 270 appearances.
