The other most favourite part of this famous group of friends is lovable Jughead. He is known for his love for food, especially burgers. 1. His real name is Forsythe Pendleton Jones III. In many of the earlier comics, all of his friends were curious and made quite an effort to know his name. The reason he never mentions his name is that he believes that mere mention of his name can make girls crazy for him,
2. Jughead is an author. As we all know about his eating prowess, in 1976 edition of Archie, Jughead has a change of heart, and he attempts to write a book. He even consults Miss Grundy for improvement in his writing style. His cookbook “The great Forsythe P. Jones Cookbook” was a best seller.
3. Jughead is known for his unparallel metabolism but do you known he once traded his metabolism with a witch? In the 2010 issue of Archie, Jughead is presented with an offer by a witch to trade his metabolism with two large pizza, topped with appetizers of mini cheeseburgers. After trading his metabolism, Jughead turns very obese. It is after the combined efforts of his friends; he is able to break the spell.
4. His famous crown beanie enabled him to time travel. In the limited “Back to future” series, Jughead could time travel, if he thinks very hard.
5. Jughead family members also make small appearances now and then in the comic series. His father name is Forsythe Pendleton Jones II, and his mother name is Gladys. He even has a younger sister Forsythia “Jellybean” Jones. He also owns a sheepdog named Hot dog.
6. Jughead is a drummer in the band “The Archies”. Archie once mentioned that Jughead is too introverted to perform on the front stage. So, he has chosen to be a drummer.
7. Jughead is often shown to have above-average intelligence. He has knowledge of varied subjects and genres and often bedazzles his teachers with his intelligence.
