Some people just have all the luck in the world!
Just how lucky have you been in your life? Is it when you got your favourite gadget on your birthday as a gift? Or is it when the test was cancelled when you were not prepared for it? Luck is a controversial subject. Some people believe that there is nothing like luck that dictates our life, and man is the maker of his own destiny. But we often come across fascinating and unbelievable stories of luck and destiny that make us questions many of our beliefs. Here are some of the unbelievable stories of the luckiest people in history.

Everyone would crave the luck that Joan Ginther had. She hit the jackpot not once, not twice, not thrice but four times. Her luck in the lotteries is baffling not only to common folks but also experts. She won her first lottery, which was 5.4 million dollars. Then after ten years, luck struck again, and this time she won 2 million dollars. Three years after this feat, she again got lucky and won a lottery worth 3-million-dollar the third time around. In the year 2008, she hit the jackpot with the ten-million-dollar lottery.

Tsutomu Yamaguchi was working for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries during the 2nd World War. He went for a work visit to Hiroshima when the first nuclear bomb was dropped there. To his luck and surprise, he survived the attack unharmed. But when he immediately joined his family in Nagasaki, the second nuclear bomb was dropped there. And to his and everyone else disbelief, he survived that too. And lived up till the ripe age of 93 to tell the tale of wonder and devastation.
Nichiren.
In the 12th Century, a monk named Nichiren had an extraordinary brush of luck. He irked some High-ranking Japanese officials with his prophecies. He was tied and ordered to be executed. On the day of execution, when he was about to be beheaded, suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the executioner, and he was killed. This really frightened the authorities and he was released, and went on to become a prominent religious figure of those times.
So, do you still believe in luck?
