Best Museums of the World

For those who find museums a joy to visit, and are keen connoisseurs of history, art, and other precious objects, here are some of the best museums in the world that you can visit!

Louvre Museum – This is perhaps the most famous museum in the world, probably due to its vast collection. It has been calculated that if one were to spend 30 seconds per object, and see all the 35,000 objects on display, it would take 200 days! It sounds unbelievable right! However, even if one was to see a portion of it, it is definitely something that one must-see. The most famous paintings of this museum are Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the famous sculpture, Venus De Milo. However, going through the museum is a delight, as it not only contains such beautiful objects on display, but the availability of highly developed DS’s to facilitate one’s exploration and exposure to Rennaissance paintings makes it the experience of a lifetime!

Musee De Orsay- This is another famous museum in Paris and has a fine collection of Impressionist paintings, which makes it so important. From the major works of Edgar Degas to Paul Cezanne to Toulouse Lautrec’s works, this museum upholds the legacy of modern art in Paris. It is an unmissable experience!

Museum De Musique – Based in Vienna, and translated as The Museum of Music, this museum is probably the most creative one that one can go to. There are three floors. One floor is based on the basic physics of sound-making and the creation of musical sounds.  There are sonic instruments kept around to demonstrate wavelengths and sound waves. The second floor contained other aspects of music, regarding the evolution of music systems from gramophones to music systems, etc as well as a game, where one can make their own opera music. The third aspect which adds to this curation just perfectly are all the great opera musicians, including Mozart, John Bach, and Beethoven amongst others. This floor has creative models of each of their operas, and the audio guides are filled with humorous incidents about these rather eccentric musicians, intercepted with their beautiful compositions.

Bikaner Museum – Although maybe it would seem out of place in this list, this museum which is maintained by the Bikaner Royal family is worth a mention! Each room is adorned with beautiful patterns on the walls. The museum not only tells a trajectory of the family, but one of the larger history of India, the contributions of the family at various junctures, and both the military and cultural pursuits of the family. This is definitely one of the well-curated museums!
