Best Sibling Relationships in the History of TV

Because TV series fandom are going gaga over these evergreen sibling relationships that are thankfully not carved out of sheer unrealism

We cannot deny how these pairs have given us enough reasons to pause, re-watch and binge-watch a few precious moments and quite guiltlessly so.

Bart and Lisa Simpson

Bart and Lisa Simpson supremacy is forever cemented in television history and rightly so. Perhaps no other sibling pair has been so radically different from each other and still successful in forging a bond so ephemerally beautiful and intense. Of course, they are sibling goals. Remember when Bart was cheering for Lisa, much to the disquiet of the other boys, when she was struggling on the rope? Irrespective of their squabbles, Bart and Lisa always have each other’s back.

Monica and Ross Geller

FRIENDS might have given you friendship and couple goals, but the sibling relationship between Mon and Ross is no less phenomenal. Monica sets dates for Ross while Ross lends a supporting shoulder to her when she goes through a painful breakup with Richard. Monica spends an entire night worried about Ross’s whereabouts who goes for a stroll to cope with Emily’s remarriage.

Ross never flinches away from standing up for Monica even when it means going against their parents, and Monica is generous and loving enough to give up for Vermont vacation to him. Need we say more?

Chuck and Ellie Bartowski

Your friends may have recommended Chuck for Zachary Levi, humour, and Chuck-Sarah dynamics, but Chuck and Ellie have a separate fanbase. The Bartowski siblings are the embodiment of love, loyalty and a lifetime of warmth and compassion. Ellie was not simply burdened with the task of looking for her little brother, but it is something she did out of genuine adoration and love. The kids vowed “no secrets” and we cannot help but go all awwww.

David and Alexis Rose

Now, Alexis might exclaim “Ew, David” every now and then but in Schitt’s Creek the brother-sis duo definitely stormed the small screen with their witty comebacks, eccentricities, wordplays, sibling fights and moments of heart-wrenching emotions. David and Alexis withstand the terrible topsy-turvy of events that stranded them in an outlandish motel, sharing a single room, in the town Schitt’s Creek. Intolerable to each other, the way their relationship pans out is simply endearing to watch. They might poke fun and insult each other, but we cannot deny how they also root for each other’s happiness.
