Go whale watching

Whales are not only gigantic but also extremely majestic and fascinating creatures of the sea. If you have never seen whales before, then on your trip to Madagascar, you must! Go the Ile Sainte Marie in the East Coast of Madagascar to witness the annual humpback whale migration. It will be a sight to behold, trust us!

Swim with the sharks

If you are visiting Madagascar between the months of September to December then you can go the north-western island of Nosy Be to do some swimming with whale sharks! They are pretty docile creatures but it still requires a bit of a daredevil heart to do this! But it will be an experience worth having.

Walk along the Avenue of the Baobabs

One of the main things Madagascar is extremely famous for is the Avenue of Baobabs! These trees are huge and extremely iconic. It is in fact one of the most photographed areas in Madagascar too! The best time to click a picture for your social media is during sunrise or sunset. But be cautious as it is always very crowded.

Visit Isalo National Park

When in Madagascar, not visiting this national park will be an absolute shame. You can see several types of lemurs, birds, reptiles and so much more here. You can even hire a local guide if you want a proper tour of the full park. If you are a fan of hiking, you can do that too here!
