Here is the list of some of Bollywood's most successful father-son duos who worked together in a movie.

Amitabh Bachchan is probably the biggest star ever in Indian cinema and his son Abhishek Bachchan followed his footsteps and made acting his career.

Amitabh Bachchan is working in the Hindi film industry for more than four decades and his son Abhishek Bachchan followed his footsteps and made his debut in Bollywood in 2000 with JP Dutta’s Refugee. The movie didn’t do well and a few more movies of Abhishek failed at the box office but he made a comeback with movies like Dhoom and Yuva. The father-son duo of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan came together for the first time in Shaad Ali’s Bunty aurBubly though they were not father and son in the movie. Their first movie as father and son was Sakar followed by KabhiAlvida Na Kehna and in Paa, interestingly Abhishek Bachchan played father to the character of Amitabh Bachchan.

Dharmendra and Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol

Though Dharmendra and Sunny Deol were together in the movie Kshatriya, they didn’t have any scene together and it was Apne in 2007 when they shared the same frame.

Dharmendra was a big star during his days and both of his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol chose acting as their careers. Apne directed by Anil Sharma was the first time when three of them came together for a movie. The movie was a big hit and they again came together for the comedy movie YamlaPaglaDeewana which also did good business but its sequel YamlaPaglaDeewana didn’t do well at the box office. If rumors are to be believed, they are once again coming together for Apne 2.
