In this situation, environmental conservation is essential to protect the living conditions of the environment and to combat environmental issues like global warming climate change.

Environmental Conservation is the practice of maintaining the quantity and quality of various natural elements in the environment. If we cannot protect the environment and its elements, this environment will not be habitable for human beings in the near future. Therefore, it is necessary to protect one of the elements of the environment - such as soil, water, forest, minerals, etc. There is a need to maintain a natural balance, control pollution, and create awareness among the people about the need to protect the environment.

Levels of Environmental Conservation

Approaches for Environmental Conservation can be made at the individual level by spreading awareness about the necessity of saving the environment, planting trees, keeping surroundings clean etc. At the organisational level, and governmental level, the approach of Environmental Conservation should be done to combat the repercussions of massive industrialisation.

How to Spread Awareness

Various laws and regulations to protect the environment, even if government initiatives are taken, will not address any of them unless there is widespread awareness among the people and people really understand the need to protect the environment. For that reason, human beings need to have an idea of ​​the role of environmental protection and well-being in the survival and progress of human civilisation. Everyone needs to understand that the interrelationship between the environment and human beings and the interdependence of every element of the environment is one of the conditions for survival.

Why to introduce Environmental Conservation as a core course?

And the only way to get these messages out to a large number of people on a large scale is to include Environmental Science and Environmental Conservation in the curriculum from the very primary studies. Although environmental science is included in the curriculum in different countries including India, it is not studied with special importance. By including this subject as a core subject and giving it enough importance, not just to get marks or pass exams, but to make the students aware of the importance of studying this subject for the protection of the environment, we can get a beautiful world in the future by practicing Environmental Conservation .
