It is a group of girls who aim to be honest, fair, friendly, caring, courageous, strong, and considerate. The movement came into being to modelled girls and boys into being better citizen who can work for the betterment of the country and society. And there are many famous celebrities who started as girl scout and rose up to shatter the glass ceiling.

The world-famous former first lady, Michelle Obama, started as a girl scout when she was in Chicago. Little did she knew that years later, she would be holding the post of Honorary National President as First Lady of United States.
