Schizophrenia is a common word we hear nowadays. This mental disorder is often seen among people in their adolescence and adulthood. People who belong to a low socio-economic background are mostly affected by this disorder. There are many misconceptions about this disease we heard nowadays. In reality, People who suffer from this disorder have difficulties in speaking or expressing their emotions. Most patients talk irrelevantly about certain topics such as religion, community, sex, morality, philosophy and power as well. The typology of Schizophrenia depends on the duration, symptoms and the way of treatment.

Paranoia

This kind of schizophrenia is seen among people aged from 25 to 30 years. We can see the initiation of this disorder in the middle of their adulthood. Various symptoms can be seen in paranoia where the patients have been suffering from insecurities regarding their place in the community or the society. They always think that someone is talking about him and laughing at them for some peculiar reason. Strange concepts regarding wealth, beauty and power are created in the minds of the schizophrenia patient. Patients have hallucinations but they stay normal in society. In the outer look, you cannot identify them as they perform different social and cultural actions smoothly and perfectly. Treatment is possible for this type of disorder.

Simple

This classic type of schizophrenia is seen among school and middle college students. They start to grow reckless behavioural traits. Behaviour and mood change abruptly. The patients are seen changing their workplaces and jobs. they are not stable in their actions. The disorder can be diagnosed if the details and the past of the patient are known by the councillor or psychiatrist.

Catatonic      

This type of schizophrenia starts between 15 and 25 years. Patients suddenly become violent and aggressive. They mostly sit in a strange posture for a prolonged time. Even sometimes repeats the same words and sentences unconsciously

Childhood schizophrenia

This kind of schizophrenia is seen among children below12 years. The children who are suffering from this schizophrenia have a strange attachment toward inanimate objects and even animals. these children use pronouns and verbs inappropriately in any conversation. Schizophrenia can be treated if diagnosed at the right time.

We all have this wrong idea about schizophrenia that people who are suffering from this disorder mostly live in their own imaginary world but this is not true. it is a mental disorder that needs to be treated with the help of medical consultation. Every type of schizophrenia has different treatment so you need to diagnose first if you or your acquaintance have above symptoms.
