Born Dwayne Douglas Johnson, he is famously known by his ring name The Rock. Johnson is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time as he wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation for eight years before he decided to pay heed to his calling in acting. His stardom of an athlete combined with that of an actor leads his films doing a business of over $10.5 billion worldwide, making him one of the world's highest-grossing and highest-paid actors. As much as he is loved on the screen and on the ring, The Rock has even more vibrant and impactful presence on social media. So here is a list of a few of his films that you can watch.

The Scorpion King By director Chuck Russell, this prequel film was given a green light even before the filming of his debut film, The Mummy Returns, was even complete. And after The Mummy Returns became a hit worldwide people wanted to see more of The Rock. Though the film received mixed reviews, The Scorpion King was a key building block toward Johnson’s acting stardom.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Director Jake Kasdan in this sequel to the 1995 Jumanji- Welcome to the Jungle has done his best to do justice to the Robin Williams film. Johnson paired with Kevin Hart after staring together in the film Central Intelligence and put a great humorous show. They too get sucked into the game and must win the game in order for the kids to return to real life. The film grossed over $400 million domestically, and is said to be the biggest hit of Johnson’s career.

The Rundown This is Johnson’s second film with a leading role and he surprised the critics and audiences by not only displaying his flair for comedy in this Peter Berg directional but proved his versatility as a performer. Johnson plays Beck, a bounty hunter who is sent on one last assignment to Brazil to retrieve his boss’s son Travis played by Seann William Scott. Set mostly in the Brazilain rainforest, the film picks up with Beck realizing how Travis is a handful to deal with. The film was hit and is a must-watch for Johnson’s comic chemistry with Scott and it indeed was the key to make the work. This action-adventure film is also often considered one of Johnson's best movies.

The Other Guys A prototypical buddy cop action-comedy film, with Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson is a fun riot to watch. The two steal the show for the first 10 minutes, only to then shockingly jump to their deaths. Though more of a part than a central role in the film, Johnson did much justice to his role.
