Ever Thought You Earn Millions Playing Call of Duty? These Six Pros Did Just That by Simply Mastering the Game!

Your call of duty skills can now make you a millionaire!

While the prize money in Call of Duty esports might not reach the heights seen in games like Dota 2, numerous players have still earned substantial paychecks throughout their careers. Since the inaugural $1 million prize pool at the 2011 CoD XP, there have been 11 world title events, each with significant prize pools. This has enabled players to commit themselves fully to competitive COD, turning it into a lucrative career for many. Here, we highlight the top six Call of Duty players based on their event earnings.

An active COD Game Competition

aBeZy – $1,576,881

aBeZy, who is regarded as one of the fastest and most aggressive players in the world, has had an enormous positive influence on his teams since turning pro. ABeZy, the somewhat elder half of the "Tiny Terrors" team, has already achieved two extremely remarkable feats: she has qualified for four straight world championship grand finals from 2019 to 2022 and has already won two world titles.

Simp – $1,543,703

Since making his debut on the pro circuit in 2019, Simp has emerged as a leading contender for the title of the best player in the world. In fewer than five full seasons competing alongside the most formidable teams, Simp has secured two world titles, reached the grand finals of four Champs, and claimed both the 2019 CWL Championship MVP and the 2021 CDL season MVP awards.

Arcitys – $1,391,737

Similar to his twin brother Prestinni, Arcitys experienced his greatest financial success when they, as members of eUnited, emerged victorious in the 2019 CWL Championship. However, Arcitys surpassed this achievement when he and his formidable Atlanta FaZe squad dominated the league to claim the 2021 Call of Duty League Championship.

Crimsix – $1,388,543

The most successful player in Call of Duty history,  Crimsix achieved a significant milestone alongside his former Empire teammate Clayster at the 2020 Call of Duty League Championship. Together, they became the first duo in console esports history to surpass $1 million in prize winnings. While Crimsix's numerous LAN event victories undoubtedly contributed to this feat, it was his three world titles that made the greatest impact. Winning the most prestigious tournament in esports in 2014, 2017, and 2020, Crimsix accumulated $550,000 from just these three events alone.

Cellium – $1,326,149

Like his counterparts on Atlanta FaZe, Cellium has consistently proven his immense value to every team he's been a part of since turning pro. Alongside second-place finishes at the 2020 and 2022 CDL Championships, as well as clinching three major titles in 2021, Cellium and FaZe culminated their remarkable 2021 season with a highly lucrative victory at the CDL Championship.

Clayster – $1,195,572

Clayster is undeniably one of the most vocal and dynamic players in eSports. Fearlessly, he asserts himself by vocally celebrating his achievements across venues, often directed towards his opponents after making impactful plays. This approach has proven successful for him, as evident in his impressive prize earnings thus far. His triumphs include CoD world titles in 2015, 2019, and 2020, making him one of only three players to achieve such a feat. Additionally, Clayster holds the distinction of being one of the first two players in console esports history to surpass the $1 million prize earnings mark.

With the esports industry booming and venturing more into streaming, any gamer can in fact become a millionaire. Gone are the days when playing video games was thought to be a waste of one’s time!
