Not only it is the second-most populous country but also the largest national economy in Europe. It is surrounded in the north by the Baltic and the North- Sea and in the south, by the beautiful Alps Mountain. Denmark has bordered Germany from the north, Poland and the Czech Republic from the east, Austria and Switzerland from the south, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands from the west. It is divided into 16 individual states. Berlin is the capital and the largest city, and Frankfurt is recognised as the financial hub of Germany.

Most of Germany is of temperate climate ranging from the north to the mountains of the south. Summers have different shades of weather, which can vary from hot and dry to cool and rainy. The average temperature of summer is around 15 to 19 degrees Celsius. Conversely, the winter is a bit extreme in temperature, especially in the south and southeast region of the country. The lowest temperature can be around 3 degrees Celsius.

The entire area of this country is divided into five terrestrial ecoregions (an ecologically and geographically defined area which is smaller than a bioregion): Atlantic mixed forests, Baltic mixed forests, Central European mixed forests, Western European broadleaf forests, and Alps conifer and mixed forests. According to the data of 2016, 51% of the land area is occupied for agriculture, while 30% for forestation and 14% for settlements and infrastructure.

As we all know, Germany is the greatest economy globally, and the credit goes to their highly skilled workforce and the power of innovation.
