Different Types of Exfoliation

Physical Exfoliation

Exfoliating Your Face

Apply your chosen exfoliant, whether it's a scrub or chemical exfoliant. Massage in gentle, circular motions for about 30 seconds, avoiding the eye area.


Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry and follow up with a hydrating serum and moisturizer.

Exfoliating Your Body

Dry Brushing

Before showering, use a dry brush with natural bristles to gently brush your body in upward strokes. This not only exfoliates but also stimulates circulation.

In the Shower

While showering, apply a body scrub to damp skin. Massage in circular motions, paying extra attention to rough areas like elbows, knees, and heels.

Loofah or Exfoliating Gloves

Thoroughly rinse off the scrub or soap. After showering, pat your skin dry and apply a nourishing body lotion to lock in moisture.

Post-Exfoliation Care

After exfoliating, your skin is more receptive to nourishment. Apply a hydrating serum followed by a moisturizer to replenish lost moisture. Don't forget to use sunscreen, as exfoliation can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
