Singtom Tea Estate is probably the best tea tourism experience in the Darjeeling area. This estate with the resort is the oldest estate in Darjeeling, which is located not so far, around 6km from the town. The tea plantation was started around 1852. This can be the ideal place for relaxation for a few days, where you can have not only amazing tea gardens but also the best view of Kanchenjunga from the resort. Bidyang, another offbeat place from the Kalimpong area, is located around 15km from the Kalimpong town. This place is known for its peaceful and serene atmosphere. Here you can enjoy the views of dense forests of Pine Fir and Oak and the silence in the sound of flowing rivers like Relli. The abundance of chirping birds will definitely relax your perturbed soul.
