North Bengal is full of travel destinations; you don’t need to restrict your plan within the known periphery of Darjeeling and Gangtok. Rongo

Rongo is a small but very beautiful hamlet near the hills of Bhutan that is located around 33km from the New Mal junction. There you can have a village walk or visit the monastery and waterfall. Exploring Rongo will definitely give you some worth remembering memories.

Lepchakha

Lepchakha, the hilly area of the Dooars region, is simply mesmerising. It is located at the top of Buxa Hill, from where you can experience the amazing view of twelve rivers flowing in the Dooars. You can also have a nice view of Buxa Tiger Reserve, Bhutan Hills from the top. Most importantly, you will have a mind-blowing trekking experience from Santalabari to reach Lepchakha.

Singtom Tea Estate

Singtom Tea Estate is probably the best tea tourism experience in the Darjeeling area. This estate with the resort is the oldest estate in Darjeeling, which is located not so far, around 6km from the town. The tea plantation was started around 1852. This can be the ideal place for relaxation for a few days, where you can have not only amazing tea gardens but also the best view of Kanchenjunga from the resort. Don't forget to explore the authentic taste of Darjeeling Tea.

Bidyang

Bidyang, another offbeat place from the Kalimpong area, is located around 15km from the Kalimpong town. This place is known for its peaceful and serene atmosphere. Here you can enjoy the views of dense forests of Pine Fir and Oak and the silence in the sound of flowing rivers like Relli. The abundance of chirping birds will definitely relax your perturbed soul.
