Football Players With Most Assets

Ronaldo is the highest-paid football player on the planet, but does that mean he owns the maximum assets compared to other players?

Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-paid football player in the world, followed by six-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi. Both the players are known for earning huge money from various sources such as jersey sales, boot sponsorships and more. However, that does not mean these players have the most assets, such as properties and businesses. Compared to these two players, there are several other players who have invested in much more assets. Who are they? Let’s take a look.

David Beckham- There was a time when English national and Manchester United star David Beckham was one of the highest-paid athletes in the world. However, compared to today’s salary, Beckham’s salary was nothing. But the man with a suave personality is known for making smart financial decisions. Beckham owns a company named DB Ventures Limited through which the former Real Madrid player banked dividends worth 30 million pounds. The man has several properties around the world, but the costliest one he owns is his London house, which is worth 40 million euros. Not to forget, Beckham has an arsenal of fancy cars and he is also the co-owner of two football clubs.

FaiqJefri Bolkiah- Honestly, we really do not want to mention Bolkiah’s name in this article but the Brunei national player is the world’s richest football; thanks to his ties with the royal family of Brunei. Bolkiah is the nephew of Brunei’s Sultan and therefore, his net worth is around 20 billion US dollars. From palaces to cars and yachts worth million dollars, the assets of Bolkiah cannot be listed here. Out of several businesses, Bolkiah is the heir of his father’s oil business and his uncle’s throne.

Mathieu Flamini- A former Arsenal man, Mathieu Flamini was a significant player, if not the best. After spending many years playing football, Flamini tried his hands at leading companies. In 2008, he, along with his partner Pasquale Granata, established a company named GFBioChemicals. As per many, the company has a market value of 30 billion US dollars. That is not all because a few years ago, Flamini established another company in a partnership with player Mesut Ozil. A skincare product making company, Unity also has a great market value.
