Here are some fun things to do in Chicago.

The United States is one of the largest and most diverse countries across the globe. Chicago is one of its cities that is worth exploring for numerous reasons. It has become a global city that is vibrant and full of energy. There are some places that are just plain fun, while others are educational in an awsome ways. Best of all, there are great places to explore, exciting things to eat, and enjoyable activities to experience. There is something for everybody to enjoy. Here are some fun and exciting things to do in Chicago.

Enjoy some time at the Garfield Park Conservatory

This breathtaking conservatory is a beautiful glass structure that houses over 100,000 plants. Some people refert to it as "landscape art under glass". The Garfield Park Conservatory has eight indoor display gardens you can wander around in. Check out the Fern Room and the Desert House, which houses one of the a range of succulents and cacti.

Check out stunning artwork at the Art Institute of Chicago

There are some amazing  masterpieces at the  Art Institute of Chicago. It houses a collections of close to 300,000 artworks. What's more, this art contains masterpieces from various eras. Andy Warhol's print of actress Elizabeth Taylor is one of the iconic art pieces you can expect to see. It has an extensive collections of 19th-century French painting and 20th-century paintings and sculptures. Meanwhile, the Thorne Miniature Room in the institure contains recreations of American, European and Asian architecture and furniture that will leave you in awe.

Visit the Chicago Cultural Center

This amazing building is reportedly  the country's first free municipal cultural center. There is a lot to explore in this space, from exhibitions to architectural flourishes. There are rotating art exhibits throughout the building. These are a variety of at forms displayed - photography, video, abstract sculptures, and more. The works are created by local and national artists.

Explore the Field Museum

This is natural history museum is massive. It was reportedly founded to preserve the biological and anthropological collections for the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893. There are plenty of permanent exhibitions to explore. "Inside Ancient Egypt" exhibit is very popular in the museum. It also houses Egyptian artifacts, including one of the largest collections of mummies in the United States. Apart from ancient cultures, there are plenty of exhibits that explore scientific discoveries.
