Greatest music fests across the world

You must have heard that music from any language or region brings people together. But the music-centric fests literally bring like-minded people to one place to enjoy music from different artists. Pitched tents, camps, huge stages, and vast arenas and grounds across the world- a lot of music fans get excited to see their favorite artists. And this has been happening for over a century now, with the first-ever fest called Woodstock in Newyork, 1969. Music fests have something eccentric about them and have grown to have an experiential value to them.

Coachella- True blue millennial fest

This music fest must be the most heard of by people. It is the biggest melting pot (California in April is anyway hot) held in the USA. Apart from music, you can have great experiences and fun in fashion, celebrities, giant art structures, and lots of insta-worthy spots. No doubt, this fest is the most Instagrammed music fest in the world! The music here usually consists of rising stars, pop stars, and iconic celebrities like Beyonce. You can really experience the mixture of laidback hipster and bohemian vibes to their core.

Tomorrowland- Pure magic to eyes and ears

This decade-old fest has been getting bigger and bigger with its EDM dance and music lineups every year. Located in the appropriately named town called Boom in Belgium, it has attracted the biggest electronic musicians and DJs from across the world. After Coachella, this one comes second as the most Instagrammable fest. You can expect more than fifteen stages, volcanoes, the biggest butterflies, and a humungous amount of confetti glitter.

Rock in Rio- History and mythology meet music

This fest involves a unique mixture of mythology, history, and rock music. It is a star-studded affair with editions held in Lisbon and of course Rio de Janerio. There have also been recent versions of Rock in Rio Las Vegas and Rock in Rio USA.

Splendor in the Grass- Aussie’s institutional music fest

An iconic summer festival down under, Summer in the Grass showcases electronic, indie rock, alternative, and hip hop. This fest also has a line-up of A-list stars and singers as well as upcoming artists. You can ponder around the fest exploring art, standup comedies, talks, and camping.

Summerfest- Ticket in a bargain

The largest and comparatively the cheapest music fest in the USA with the day pass of just 20 dollars. Spread across 11 days, Summerfest organizes more than 800 lineups. It is located on the lakefront with several picture-worthy spots, local grubs, shopping, and even a children’s area.

There are several other amazing music fests like Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Burning Man, and many more.
