Habits That Are Making You Irritable

If you are annoyed at the little things and feel irritated at every moment of every day, it might have something to do with your habits!

When you feel overtly stressed or exhausted, it is common to feel peevish and irritated at times. However, if this feel of irritation with everyone and everything around persists for a long period of time it is a problem. Our habits and lifestyle make up for most of our health both physical and mental. When your habits are not in your place, it is easy to feel irritated. Naturally, this feeling of irritability would go away once you make changes in your lifestyles and habits. Here are a few habits that are making you irritable and you should considering changing them now!

Staying Cooped Up In Your House All Day

Not stepping out of your house even for a few minutes might have negative impact on your mood. Being in the midst of nature and breathing in fresh air helps relax your nerves and take away the stress. Naturally, if you stay cooped up in your room all day, it will make you irritable. The confinement of the four walls make you feel stressed and therefore, irritable. Step out of your house even if it is for half an hour everyday to avoid feeling irritated. You will be surprised how your mood drastically changes for the better once you have been out among people and the nature.

Not Keeping Your Stomach Full

No matter how hard you want to diet, skipping meals and keeping your stomach empty for hours is never the answer. It directly affects your mood and not for the good. Skipping your meals might make your sugar levels drop which forces your body into the fight or flight mode. In this stage your body produces adrenaline which makes you sweat, stressed and your heart beat fast. As a result, your body and your mind feel irritated. Do not skip your meals to avoid feeling irritated.

Being Way Too Responsive To Your Phone

It is understandable if you are too busy to put your phone down but it also takes a toll on your mood. Often being stuck on your phone all the time responding to texts and calls could make you an irritable person. Cut down on your phone hours even if you are doom scrolling to avoid feeling irritated always.
