Pineapple is a very tasty and juicy fruit and people all over the world love it. It originated in South America and from there Europeans spread it across the globe. It got its name for its resemblance to pine cones. Along with being good to eat, it has got lots of health benefits also. Here we will discuss about few health benefits of Pineapple.

Full of Nutrients 

Pineapples are full of nutrients that are beneficial to us. It’s quite rich in proteins, carbs, fiber, and vitamins. 

Even though pineapples are low on calories, it is full of an array of nutrients like proteins, carbs, fiber, vitamin C, manganese, potassium, magnesium, etc. Along with these nutrients, it has got a little amount of phosphorus, zinc, calcium, and vitamins A and K.

Along with being rich in nutrients, pineapples are rich in antioxidants also that help our body to fight oxidative stress. 

Pineapples are known to have antioxidants which are helpful in getting our body rid of oxidative stress.
