Here are some quirky gifting ideas one can easily make at home

It is time you ditched buying gifts and started making them on your own

Nothing compares to the joy of giving and receiving a gift. Under this gesture, when given with love, even the smallest of items brings a massive smile to the people's faces and makes their hearts swell with love. While there have been conventional gift items like a card, pen, or photo frame, the times have changed, and it calls for unique gifting streaks. The card and pen are gifts of the passé; now, people have started to opt for handmade and unique items, from creating a gift item from scratches, such as candles, pen stands, photo frames, and whatnot. Since the creative juices on inventing quirky gifting ideas are increasing day by day, one often finds themselves in a fix as to which one to pick. So here is a list of quirky gifting ideas that you can do yourself with ease at home.

Snowman keychain or hanging

So next time you open a soda or a beer bottle, don't throw away the cap. Instead, bring them home and make a hanging snowman. Yeah, you heard that right! Those metal caps that seem redundant and are flicked away in the bin in a second can make for a great best out of waste gifting item that is quirky as well as charming. On a long sling of ribbon or thread of your choice, stick three caps using glue with their topside on the ribbon. On the top cap, draw eyes, nose, and a big smile using a black marker. You can tie a scarf around the neck using a different colour ribbon and tie a knot if you wish. On the head of the top cap, make a loop. Vola! Your hanging snowman is ready.

Candles

Making candles is a therapeutic job, and when making for someone special, it comes out extra lovely. In a heating pan, place the wasted half-used candles and some other colourful candles for essence along with some water. To make it extra special, add a few drops of lavender, orange or lemon, or any other choice of fragrance you would like to add. In the intention of your container, pour the melted candles. On a trim stick or a toothpick, tie a wick and balance it on the container's mouth. Let it cool, and then you have your candle ready to be gifted. You can gift wrap it or put it in a gift bag.

Other options for do-it-yourself quirky gifting items are knitted blankets, cup coasters, photo frames from ice-cream sticks, and much more.
