The beach gets its name from the area's foamy water, called the Soup Bowl. It is a well-known beach amongst the surfing community as they gather here for competitions regularly. Visiting the distillery at St. Nicholas Abbey
The island is famous for its rum larger distilleries and one can visit distilleries such as the Mount Gay Rum and West Indies Rum. But St. Nicholas Abbey is different from the rest as it distills the rum in traditional small batches. While you may be mesmerized by the distilling process, what is also beautiful to see is a 350-year-old plantation home, comprising a museum filled with antiques; gardens, and orchards spread across the property.

To get grooving to a quintessential Barbados experience, then spending a day at the Rockley beach is a must. This stretch of sandy beach is perfect for spending a lazy day swimming or reading a book by the waves.
