Malta has an absolute array of things to do!

Although a small country nestled in between Africa and Italy, Malta is absolutely breathtaking! It has museums, forts, cathedrals and an extremely rich history attached to it which makes sure you have a great experience when in Malta. The best time to visit sunny Malta would be during the first half of the year. However, if you do like the winters a bit more, then go there during November and December. No matter when you land up there, there are a ton of things you can do and see there. So here we will tell you about a few things you should not miss out on in Malta…

Walk around San Anton Gardens – If you are visiting Malta only to see natural parks, you might not find much. But, the San Anton Gardens is one which will enthrall you. The trees in this garden are almost 300 years old and it is free for anyone to visit! There is also an aviary and a petting zoo in this place if you are travelling with your children.

Visit the Dingli Cliffs – This is actually the highest point in Malta and it has a fantastic view. You can even hike here if you want to and see the several view points as per your liking. It is located 250m above sea level and you have to watch a sunset from this point in order to be mesmerized.

Take a day trip to Gozo – Just like Malta, Gozo is a popular tourist destination and is often called as Malta’s sister. It is a 15-20 minute ferry ride and it has some beautiful sandy beaches and spectacular views. When in Gozo, don’t miss out on Citadella in Victoria, which is a must-see for all architecture lovers out there.

Go cave diving – If you are an adrenaline lover then this is a must. Comino is the best spot in Malta if you would like to go cave diving. It is an uninhabited island and has several underwater caves with deep blue water which makes everything magical! You can also witness a lot of sea creatures here.

Visit Mdina – For the initiated Mdina is the ancient capital of Malta and it has several museums, rich culture and so much history wrapped up in every street there. For all history buffs, this is a must-visit place.
