How to build your simple skincare routine

Here’s a simple skincare routine for you to adjust and build upon!

It is not enough if you have good-skin, to maintain the glow and radiant you need to work on your skincare routine so that it can save your skin from damage. Here are some easy tips for you to follow:

  1.   Wash your face: Every morning and night it is important to rinse your face with water and while rubbing use some gentle cleanser in between clean palms. With gentle pressure massage some face wash on your face then mildly massage the face and rinse it with water. After this use a soft towel and pat it on your face gently.
  2.   Apply toner: If you are using toner then apply it after the cleansing process of your face. You can use cotton pads while using toner or you can just use your palms. Exfoliating toners remove the dead skin cells because it has glycolic acid but make sure you use it at night time only.
  3.   Apply serum: Using a serum in the morning is a perfect time especially for antioxidants serums. Vitamin C serum brightens your skin because it protects the skin from free radicals which you’ll encounter in the daytime. For moisturizing serum, nighttime is perfect because it helps our skin from drying out at night.
  4.   Apply eye cream: For under-eye, you can use your daily moisturizer but if you prefer specialized cream for your eye then apply it underneath your moisturizer because eye creams are thinner than normal moisturizers. To avoid puffiness in the morning you can use a ball applicator or a metal roller.
  5.   Use spot treatment: An acne spot doesn’t look good on the skin so it’s better to treat acne spots at night. You can layer acne-fighting ingredients on your acne spots like salicylic acid and retinol. Most importantly be hydrated if you don’t want skin irritations.
  6.   Moisturize: In the daytime, you can use lightweight lotion or SPF 30 moisturizer. But at night while skin is in repair mode you can use heavy moisturizer mostly for people with dry skin.
  7. Apply sunscreen: Protecting your skin from the sunlight is important because it can simply damage your skin tone and people with sensitive skin can face other symptoms. UV rays can cause skin cancer also they can cause ageing on your skin. Use a moisturizer with your preferred amount of SPF. There are many types of chemical sunscreen for the best effect. Wait for 20 minutes before stepping outside.
