Junagarh Fort

This is also called the Bikaner fort as it is situated at Bikaner, a city in Rajasthan. You can start your trip with Junagarh fort as it is one of the most important sites in Rajasthan. Junagarh fort was built in the 16th century. It consists of several temples, many mahals of different names, museums and beautiful balconies. It had tolerated various attacks in different times but the beauty and charm of the palace is still intact.

Jaisalmer Fort

This fort is considered one of the largest forts in the world. It is also called the golden fort because sandstone was being used in making of this fort. The beauty of the palace is intensified when the sun rays reflect on the yellowish wall and it shines just like gold. As it is situated in the top of the hill, the view of the entire city, especially at the time of sunset, is incomparable.

UmaidBhawan Palace

This palace, located in Jodhpur is now a luxury fort hotel maintained by Taj. In the medieval period it was built because of some reason. According to history, the people of Jodhpur were suffering from drought and they didn’t have employment for their survival. To solve this problem king Pratapsingh employed huge people in building this fort. Now this fort is divided into so many parts like the Taj palace hotel, museum and the residence of the royal family. You can rent a room there and feel the royal ambience very easily.

Jaipur City Palace

It is located in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Built in the 18th century, this palace is an amalgamation of Indian and European art and architecture. Like other palaces, it has also become a heritage because of its contribution in history. Some of the important places of this palace include- Chandra Mahal, peacock gate, Pitam Niwas Chowk, Green Gate, Lotus Gate, Rose Gate and many more.
