Kids who etched their names in the Guinness book of World records

You will not believe how talented these children are!

The idea for Guinness book of world records first came about in 1950s when Sir Hugh Beaver (1890—1967), Managing Director of the Guinness Brewery, could not get the answer to the fastest game bird in Europe in any book. There came about the idea of the Guinness book of world records which holds a record of every big thing that has happened around the world. But it is not only older men or women who break records every day; several children have also since years broken many records. Take a look at some of these amazing children…

  1. Seven Wade, Florida – This student made a world record of most claps in a minute in December 2016. On the fateful day created a record by clapping 1,080 times in one minute and beat the old record by 60 claps! At the time he was only nine years old! Can you believe it?
  2. Que Jianyu, Fujian, China – At the age of only 13, Que Jianya broke the world record by solving three Rubik’s cubes while juggling! Sounds bizarre, right? In the time span of 5 minutes and 2.43 seconds in November 2018, he broke his own record of 5 minutes and 6.61 seconds in December 2017.
  3. Nadub Gill, Pakistan – Do you like doing mathematics? But we bet you can’t love it as much as this little genius. Well, this boy from Pakistan earned the Guinness World Record for answering 196 multiplication and division questions correctly in one minute.
  4. Nilanshi Patel, India – Talk about being the real life Rapunzel! Nilanshi from India has the Guinness book of world record for having the longest hair. In 2018, she made the record with her hair measuring up to 70.5 centimeters (or 5 feet, 7 inches)! Now here’s a creative and hardworking teenager…
  5. KrshaanaRawat, Jaipur, India –Rawatwas only 10 when she wrote, planned, and performed her play thus winning the Guinness book of world record holder title for the youngest practicing playwright. Her play had an 85-minute runtime and had a 40 person cast! She named the play "Mystical Magical Adventures — The Lost Key."
  6. GuiKhury, Brazil –Khury actually won two titles by the age of 11 years old. He became the first skateboarder to land a 1080 on a vertical ramp, and also the youngest X games athlete at the age of 10!
