Peepli Live (2010)

Produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Anusha Rizvi, this satirical comedy film had a budget of just Rs 10 crores. But the domestic collection of this movie was 46.89 crores. The International Collection was almost the same. The film was considered the third highest-grossing film in the domestic market of the U.S. on the opening weekend.

The movie has collected around 18 crores worldwide. The domestic collection was about eight crores. Also, a sequel of this movie came out in 2011.
