Most 50+ scores in T20Is

Rohit Sharma has the most number of half centuries in T20 International cricket among all batsmen across world cricket.

30 Rohit Sharma (4 X 100s)

Rohit Sharma has scored 3197 runs in T20 Internationals from 119 matches at an average of 33.30 and a strike rate of 140.28 with 26 half centuries and 4 centuries.

That adds up to a total of 30 scores in excess of 50 in T20 International Cricket which is the most by any batter.

This is what Rohit had said when he began to take his newfound aggressive route against Afghanistan.

“The approach from everyone was different. I wish it was in the first two games as well but it didn’t happen. But that can happen when you are on the road for a long time. Decision making sometimes can be a problem and that’s exactly what happened in the first two games. The amount of cricket we are playing, it becomes difficult... every time you step onto the field, you have to make the right decision. You need to ensure that you are fresh in terms of mental aspect. May be that’s the reason why we didn’t take some good decisions."

"Batting or bowling. Mentally, you need to get away from the game and freshen up your mind. But when you play the World Cup, your full focus should be on the World Cup, you should know what you need to do and what you don’t. “It didn’t happen in two games but that doesn’t mean that we have become bad players overnight. If you have two bad games, it doesn’t mean that all players are bad, those who are running the team are bad... you reflect and you comeback and that’s what we did in this game. What’s in our hands we make fewer mistakes when we step onto the field.”

29 Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is yet to hit a century in T20 International cricket but has already struck 29 scores of 50 or more -- the second highest in world cricket.

25 Babar Azam (1 X 100)

22 David Warner (1 X 100)
