The Last Temptation Of Christ
This 1988 religious epic drama film directed by Martin Scorsese is an adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis' controversial 1955 novel The Last Temptation of Christ. The film stars Harvey Keitel, Barbara Hershey, Andre Gregory, and Harry Dean Stanton, besides Willem Dafoe. Just like the book, the plot of the film depicts the life of Jesus Christ and his struggle with forms of temptation like fear, doubt, depression, reluctance, and lust. The Boondock Saints
This 1999 vigilante action thriller film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as fraternal twins. The two Boston brothers become vigilantes after killing two members of the Russian Mafia in self-defence in an attempt to free the city of crime and corruption. And Dafoe can be seen essaying the role of FBI Special Agent Paul Smecker, who is assigned to the two mafia members. Dafoe also appeared in the sequel The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.
