Kenyan-Mexican actress LupitaNyong'o known for her beauty and her skills is one of the finest actors of today’s generation. The 39-year-old actress began her acting career on the production crew for several films. But her acting career started with the short film East River. After the short film, Nyong'o appeared in the Kenyan television series Shuga and later went on to direct and produce the documentary In My Genes. Nyong'o’s acting breakthrough came with Steve McQueen's 2013 historical drama 12 Years a Slave. This role got Nyong'o countless praises and award nominations. This 2016 biographical sports drama film is directed by Mira Nair. The film stars actors David Oyelowo and MadinaNalwanga, besides LupitaNyong'o. The film is adapted from an ESPN magazine article and book by Tim Crothers. The plot of the film narrates the life story of PhionaMutesi. Phiona lives in Katwe, a slum in Kampala, Uganda, where life is a constant struggle for the 10-year-old. Growing up in the slum, her life changes one day completely when she stumbles upon the game of Chess and learns to play it. she then goes on to become a Woman Candidate Master after her victories at World Chess Olympiads.

Little Monsters

This 2019 zombie comedy film has actors Alexander England and Kat Stewart, besides LupitaNyong'o. The plot of the film revolves around dirty-talking washed-up musician Dave. He goes through a rough breakup with his girlfriend. After which he is forced to stay with his sister, Tess. As well as her son Felix, who has a fascination for tractors, space blasters, and Darth Vader. As the story progresses, Dave starts to fall for one of Felix’s teachers. And then comes a time when the kindergarten teacher and Dave team up to protect a group of young schoolchildren during a sudden zombie outbreak.
