An actor, comedian, singer, and musician, Ed Helms began his comedy and acting career as a writer and performer with New York City sketch comedy bands. While he also kept dabbling in improv, Helms also worked simultaneously as a trainee film editor. However, it was with the portrayal of Andy Bernard in the American version of the British mockumentary The Office that Helms found success. However, his big-screen success came with the portrayal of Stuart Price in The Hangover trilogy.
He has provided the voice of The Once-ler in Illumination’s The Lorax, the titular character in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, and voices Neil the Angel, a character on Cartoon Network's Weighty Decisions series.
