English actor Robert Pattinson has been the biggest heartthrob of Hollywood since he assumed the identity of a vampire. The 35-year-old actor started his acting career with theatre in London at the age of 15, but it was with playing the role of Cedric Diggory in the children’s favourite movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, that Pattinsonrose to fame. However, as mentioned earlier, Pattinson’s rise to fame came with the portrayal of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga film series. After that, there was no looking back for the actor. This 2012 drama film by director Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod is based on the 1885 French novel of the same name by Guy de Maupassant. The film stars Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Christina Ricci, besides Robert Pattinson. The plot of the film, just like the novel, revolves around a penniless former soldier who is a morally bankrupt schemer called Georges Duroy, played by Robert Pattinson. Set in the 1880s, it shows Georges Duroy making a living as an office clerk in Paris and ends up meeting an old friend, Charles Forestier, played by Philip Glenister. From here, the story takes a drastic turn as Duroy meets Mrs Madeleine Forestier, played by Uma Thurman, and her friends.

The Devil All The Time

This 2020 crime drama film by director Antonio Campos is based on the novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock, who also serves as the film's narrator. The film stars Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, and Eliza Scanlen, besides Robert Pattinson. The plot of the film is set in World War II and shows the story of a young man who is devoted to protecting his loved ones in a town full of corruption and sinister characters.

Damsel

This 2018 Western black comedy film written and directed by David and Nathan Zellner stars Robert Pattinson as Samuel Alabaster, who is an affluent pioneer who intends to propose and marry the love of his life, Penelope. The story moves forward as he hires Parson Henry, played by David Zellner, who is a drunkard, to officiate it.
