It is that time of the year, the winter season, when all you want to do is wrap up tightly in a blanket and watch some entertaining films. If you are someone who relates to this above statement, then here are some suggestions for films featuring the actor, Logan Lerman.

Logan Lerman was a teenage heartbeat and is one of the most fun actors on television and has acquired a reputation for himself. Today, he is one of the leading talents in American cinema. He is an immensely talented actor and brings a certain dynamism to his roles. Here are some of his best films that you must see!

Percy Jackson & the Olympians- The Lightning Thief

Directed by Chris Columbus in 2010, Percy Jackson & the Olympians- The Lightning Thief is one of the most engaging, engrossing films that you could come across! Based on the first in the fictional series, Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan, this film stars Logan Lerman as the protagonist Percy Jackson. The story goes, that Percy Jackson, a seemingly regular boy’s life is turned around when he discovers that he is the descendant of Poseidon, the Greek god and is a demigod! He goes on an adventure, to help resolve the ongoing battle between the gods, by going on a quest with two of his friends to retrieve the lightning bolt, give it back to Zeus, and reconciles with his father.  Though they did create a sequel, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, again with Logan Lerman starring as Percy Jackson, it failed to have the same impact as the first one, and they did not proceed to make a third sequel. However, these two films are perfect for a binge-watch, and are a good use of time!

Hoot

Directed by Wil Shriner, in 2006, and although deemed a commercial flop, believe me, you will miss out if you don’t give this film a chance! Starring Logan Lerman as Roy Eberhardt, a boy who keeps shifting cities and hence schools, the film follows his shift to a school in Florida. The film traces first his coming into school and then finally making friends with a pair of siblings, Beatrice and Mullet Fingers. Initially, met with a hostile response, the siblings ultimately befriend Roy after seeking his help, when dogs attack Mullet. Over time, Roy comes to know that Mullet is pulling pranks on a series of construction builders, who are trying to build a pancake house over an area, inhabited by owls. The rest of the film traces the trio’s attempts to save the owls and prevent construction on the land. This is one of the most heartwarming, teenage films, that talks about real issues, the ability to make change and fighting for the environment. Though made in 2006, it is now more relevant than others. Other than the beauty of the film, and the message it gave out, the actors in this film have excelled!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Directed by Stephen Chbosky, this classic film was released in 2012, and is based on a book! Someone interested in this should definitely both watch the film and read the book.  This film traces the school life of a 15-year-old introverted boy, Charlie, who is played by Logan Lerman. It deals with issues about love, violence, friendship, trauma, mental health, and the pressures to belong! It is both a heartwrenching and heartwarming film and is surely one which will make you cry and laugh!

So which film of his do you like the most?
