No more puffy eyes - diy homemade eye masks for puffy eyes

Woke up with puffy eyes? Here’s what you can do.

Most Of you are mostly glued to the screen or to work. You barely sleep on time. Disturbed sleep, sleeping late or in odd hours lead to puffy eyes. The excess screen time, work stress and bad sleeping patterns directly impacts your eyes and you end up with puffiness, baggy eyes or slight swelling around your eyes. Here are several homemade eye masks that can help you get rid of puffy eyes, baggy under eyes or swelling around your eyes.

These Masks will give your eyes the much needed soothing and calming benefits and also make them look brighter.

CUCUMBER AND ROSE EYE MASK

You will need:

½ cucumber

2-3 tbsps rose water - organic

Cotton balls

Peel and blend the cucumber with rose water and pour it in a glass jar. Dip cotton balls and put them in the freezer. Apply on your eyes. Leave it for ten minutes. Sit back and relax.

Cucumber acts as an antioxidant, which will help your eyes look brighter. Rose water will keep your eyes fresh and skin hydrated. 

CHAMOMILE EYE MASK

It is one of the easiest eye mask and can be made even when you are travelling.

You will need:

2 CHAMOMILE TEA BAGS

MUG

HOT WATER

COTTON BALLS

Dip two tea bags for 4-5 minutes in a hot cup of water. Let them cool for a while and apply them on your closed eyes. Remove and use a moisturiser or your under eye oil.

PARSLEY AND YOGHURT  EYE MASK

Being packed with vitamin C and K that lightens the skin. Reduces age spots and reduces puffiness. Yoghurt maintains blood circulation for your eyes.

You will need:

½ 1 cup parsley - chopped

1 tbsp yoghurt

1 tbsps hot water

Grind the parsley in a grinder. Pour a tbsps of hot water and stir properly. Combine the yoghurt and keep it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Soak two cotton balls in the mask and keep them under your eyes for about 10 minutes.

Dark circles, baggy eyes and puffiness is a very common problem and you often ignore it thinking it will get fine on its own, which is not true. It might get worse if not taken care of. Try these cooling eye masks for bright and pretty eyes.
