Quick snacks to cook for kids between meetings

Variety Sandwiches

Sandwiches are a great way to include protein, vegetables and lots of good things into a kid’s diet. The things you can fill into a sandwich are in plenty - from paneer, cheese, eggs, chicken, vegetables like beetroot, spinach, corn, broccoli and even pulses such as rajma, moong sprouts all in the form of cutlets. Keep some dosa batter at home, so that making idli, dhokla or even dosa and uttapam becomes super easy. In addition, the cutlets can be had as it is or even put into a frankie or a sandwich and served to the kids.

Smoothies and milkshakes are great ways to include different types of fruits which are in season. In addition, smoothies are a great way to include dry fruits like figs, dates, raisins, almonds and walnuts into their diet. Simply beat in the fresh fruit, dry fruit and also optionally add in some cocoa powder or coffee powder to make the smoothie delicious.
