1964 1/2 Mustang
For obvious reason, this Mustang has to be listed since it’s the first generation of the legendary Mustang series. The engine of this Mustang was a 2.8-litre inline-six that generated 101hp of peak power and torque of 211Nm. The car could hit a top speed of 154 kmph and could speed up to 96kmph in 13 seconds.
1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
This Mustang is the reason many people are no more in this world. Relax because we are just talking about the movie John Wick, where Keanu Reeves went gun-blazing since his beloved 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was stolen. This Mustang featured three engine variants with the Cobra Jet 7.0-litre V8 engine being the most powerful one. The beast could produce 335hp of power and a peak torque of 603Nm.
1965 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350
When Ford realized people’s hunger for more performance, they collaborated with Carol Shelby to produce the GT350. In 1965, this American Muscle had a 4.7-litre V-8 engine that produced 306hp of power. Also, Shelby removed the rear seat of the car and made it a two-seater vehicle, which further increased its popularity. The car’s popularity and performance helped it reach the race tracks as well.
2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R
To make the millennials happy, Ford had to keep the vintage style away as they came up with a modern-looking sport version of the Mustang. The Cobra R had elements like spoilers and swooping roofline with a 5.4-litre V-8 engine under the hood.
