Deewar is the story of two warring brothers Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) and Ravi (Shashi Kapoor) who are standing on two different sides of the law. It’s a classic in every sense and it’s the movie that gave Amitabh Bachchan the image of ‘Angry Young Man’, which he continued in many more movies in the future.Deewar won many Filmafare Awards that year including best director, best movie, best supporting actor but surprisingly Amitabh Bachchan didn’t get award for best actor as it was given to Sanjeev Kumar for Khilona.
