Signs Your Binge Watching Is Out Of Control

It’s a thin rope you are walking on!

Binge watching your favourite show on TV is the best thing ever! We get it. You finally find a show you love and you can’t get enough of it. Before you know, you are spending sleepless nights promising yourself that it would be the last episode but you just can’t find the strength to stop. However, even binge watching could go too far if you are not keeping a check on it. The next thing you know is you would be messing up your daily schedules and you will be struggling to keep up with your routine. Before that happens, you need to nip it in the bud. Here are a few signs to look out for that could indicate that your binge watching has gone a little too far than you intended.

Less Activity And More Couch Time
How active are you since you have started watching the long episodes back to back? If you find yourself rarely moving from the seat in front of your TV, you are binge watching too much. When you spend hours fixated on your TV screen because you cannot miss the next episode, you are literally turning yourself into a couch potato. We are not saying that you have to go out and walk a mile, although that wouldn’t be so bad. If you are barely making your body move because you have been binge watching a show, turn the TV off now!
No Time For A Sound Sleep
We have all been there where you don’t feel like going to bed because you have to know what happens next to your favourite characters. You are spending sleepless nights because of your binge watching and that’s doing you no good. The next day you feel exhausted at work and nothing but your binge watching ritual is to be blamed. Obsessing over TV could soon turn into a downward spiral of sleepless nights if you don’t put a stop it now.
Reluctance In Socialising Is A Red Alert
You have no time for your friends or your family because you can’t take your eyes of the TV is a sure sign to tell you that you are binge watching too much. You tend to cancel almost all plans because you have to go out and be with real people instead of the characters on your TV.
