Here are a few more Bollywood actors who did small roles in movies during their struggling days in Bollywood.

Making it big in Bollywood is not easy and you need lots of perseverance to get roles in movies.  But with their sheer hard work, talent and patience, many made it big in Bollywood. Continuing from the first part of the story, here are a few more Bollywood actors who did small roles in movies before getting their first big break.

Salman Khan

You must be amazed to find Salman on this list but despite being the son of famous scriptwriter Salim Khan, he had to struggle a lot to reach the position he is in today.

Salman Khan, without a doubt, is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood with a large fan following. He is the son of famous script writer Salim Khan but being his son didn’t help him much to bag roles in the movies. He started his career as a model and did a few television commercials. Alongside he was giving auditions for movies also and finally got selected to play an insignificant role in the 1988 movie Biwi Ho Toh Aisi. He then auditioned for Suraj Barjatya’s movie Maine Pyar Kiya and got selected for the lead role. The movie was a blockbuster and the rest as they say is history.

Pankaj Tripathi

Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most sought-after actors of Bollywood today but his movie career began with doing small miss and blink roles.

Pankaj Tripathi is one of the best and most versatile actors today. Give him any character to play, he will nail it with his flawless performance. His first movie appearance was in the 2004 movie Run where he had a brief encounter with the character played by Vijay Raaj. He did a small role in the movie Lakshya also but it was edited out from the movie. He got a decent role in the movie Agneepath in 2011 but it was Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur which got him to the limelight.

Further movies like Newton, Stree, and Gunjan Sharma: The Kargil Girl cemented his position as a brilliant and versatile actor. He played the character of Kaleen Bhaiya in the Amazon Prime show Mirzapur, which then made him a household name.

Shreyas Talpade

Shreyas Talpade is one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood who gave many critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies in his career.

There is no doubt that Shreyas Talpade is a brilliant actor who enchanted the audience with his performances, especially in the movies like Dor and Iqbal. He has been part of the successful movie series Golmaal and the 2007 blockbuster movie Om Shanti Om. Recently, he impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in the biographical sports drama film Kaun Pravin Tambe? streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Interestingly at the start of his career, he had a two minutes role in the 2002 movie Aankhen where he played a tea seller named Mushtaq.
