Armie Hammer is an actor who gained wide recognition for his portrayal of the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in director David Fincher's 2010 biographical drama film The Social Network. For the same, Hammer won the Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor. From starting his acting career with a few guest appearances in television shows, Hammer started his big-screen journey in a leading role in the 2008 film Billy: The Early Years. Rebecca

This 2020 British romantic thriller film directed by Ben Wheatley is based on the 1938 novel Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. The film stars Lily James and Armie Hammer in the lead roles, besides starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Keeley Hawes, Ann Dowd, and Sam Riley. The plot of the film, just like the book, tells the story of a young girl, played by Lily James, who, while working for Mrs Van Hopper in Monte Carlo, becomes acquainted with Maxim de Winter, played by Hammer, a recent widower. Soon after, they fall in love, get married, and head to his mansion in England. From here, things start to go down south for the young girl as she unearths truths.

Crisis

This 2021 crime thriller film stars Gary Oldman, Evangeline Lilly, Greg Kinnear, and Lily-Rose Depp, besides Armie Hammer. The plot of the film is set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic. The film narrates the tragedy through three stories - a D.E.A. agent arranging a cross-border Fentanyl smuggling operation in order to take down two cartels; an architect who is recovering from oxycodone addiction and searching for her missing son; lastly, a university professor who comes into conflict with a pharmaceutical company rushing to bring a new "non-addictive" painkiller to market.

Wounds

This 2019 psychological horror film is based on the novella The Visible Filth by Nathan Ballingrud. The plot of the film revolves around, Will played by Hammer, who is a bartender working at a run-down cockroach-infested bar. Things go down south one evening when certain people come to his bar.
