The Golden Rock, Myanmar

This five-meter granitic boulder is located on a cliff that is 1100 meters high above sea level. This rock is situated near KyaiktiyoPagoda which is a major pilgrimage spot for Burmese Buddhists. The legend suggests that this rock is nestled on Buddha’s hair and if one pilgrimage to this holy place thrice a year, they would be favoured with a lot of good luck and wealth and the good they had done would be recognized. The rock is nestled and appears to defy gravity and appear to plummet which adds up to its beauty.

The Stone Tree, Bolivia

It is one of Bolivia’s natural monuments which is seven meters in height and is believed to be formed by the erosions caused by strong winds which give it its unique shape. The tree-shaped rock mesmerizes visitors from all across the world with its distinctive and unique shape and makes you wonder how nature craves something so exquisite.

Perce Rock, Canada

One of the major tourist attractions of Quebec Canada, this natural rock formation is one of the world’s largest natural arches in the water. This stunning piece of natural art is a stack of limestones that are about 88 meters high and 433 meters long. The arch however is 15 meters high. Interestingly, originally there were two arches but one of them collapsed in the year 1845.

Split Apple Rock, New Zealand

This natural rock formation never ceases to amaze the onlookers with its distinctive and unique pattern. It is located on the northern coast of the South Island in New Zealand. The rock is shaped like an apple that has been cut in half. Nobody is quite sure of the reason why the rock looks like the but its unusual visuals have made the place one of the major tourist attractions.
